Darkness took me over…

I couldn’t feel my body at all.
It was like I was in a separate mind than my own.
I couldn’t see anything either.

A light…

I saw a light far ahead of me.
For some reason, I was afraid…

I didn’t want the light to come any closer.
I wanted to stay in the darkness.

Yes…

This darkness which is so soothing and gentle…
Nothing like the harsh luster of light.
I could stay here forever…

The light started to get closer to me,
My fear began to heighten and intensify deeply.

I wanted to reach out my hands in front of me…
To block anything from touching me.
But I was helpless…

The shining rays came closer to me,
Until all of a sudden,
I was completely enveloped in light.

I wanted to cry out,
I wanted to cry out for him…
I always felt so alone without him being near me…

But I didn’t have a voice to cry out for…

I felt a cool breeze circle around my bodiless form,
And I began to see images.
I couldn’t make out what they were,
For they were only hazy, gray figures against a light background.

I heard voices then…

Children’s voices…

It sounded like I was near a playground or a park.
But I still couldn’t see anything.

“Where are you going, Mira!”

I perked, hearing my name called out.
It was one of the children that had called out,
But I didn’t know who it was.

“Come with me, Hayne!”

I gasped, feeling chills running through me.

…it was my voice…

Something was wrong…
I didn’t know what was going on…
Why did the name ‘Hayne’ sound so familiar,
Yet I didn’t know who he was…

And why am I hearing myself talking?…

What is going on?…
